About this web site:

Here is where you can find photographs taken by Ted as he goes about his day to day life. Located in Rockport, Texas and working in Downtown Corpus Christi, Ted has circadian opportunities to record life as he sees it in South Texas especially as it relates to The Corpus Christi Harbor Bridge and palm trees.

His view is that of an incomer, a tourist if you will, and therefore perhaps he can see, with greater clarity, that which eludes the endemic complacency of the local populace.
Who would have thought that Ted would turn into a positive optimist in his old age?

About me:

Brought up by my mother and grandmother in post war Edinburgh, Scotland in a time devoid of remote control color TV’s, Nintendo DS’s, after school activities, fast food restaurants and, in my family anyway, automobiles.

Attended George Watson’s Boys College in Edinburgh and left well educated but with two regrets;
1. didn’t make the most of the opportunities offered at GWC and
2. left the year before it became co-ed.

Made the biggest mistake of my life by entering the Banking profession (with the intention of earning 50 pounds Sterling for an air ticket to Canada) and ended up wasting 13 years of my life.

Not for Profit seemed to suit me better and so I spent the next 20 years as Finance Manager for a residential outdoor education group.

At age 45, having reconciled to the single life, I met and married a girl from Texas and so here I am in South Texas with a wife, 2 kids, a dog and a pickup truck – life is good.
